The Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG), is a Government of India all-in-one single unified secure multi-channel multi-platform multi-lingual multi-service freeware mobile app for accessing over 841 services through 127 department central and state government services in multiple Indian languages.

Its primary aim is to abridge inconvenience faced by users in managing multiple mobile apps and facilitate a one-stop-solution to avail varied government services. Thus, downloading one mobile app will aid convergence of various efforts, carried out separately, to reach out to the individuals via mobile phones.

The Umang app is a unified application that can be used to avail a number of pan India e-government services such as filing income tax, making Aadhar and provident fund queries, booking a gas cylinder, Passport Seva, among others. UMANG provides a single platform for all Indian Citizens to access pan India e-Gov services ranging from Central to Local Government bodies and other citizen centric services.
