Dr. Raja Sekhar Reddy
Dr.Y.S.Raja Sekhar Reddy is a Ex-Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, India from 2004 to 2009. He is popularly know as "YSR". He born in 8 July 1949, Pullivendula, Cudapa District, Andhra PRadesh.
He complited her MBBS in MR Medical College, Gulbarga, Karnataka. At that time he served as a President of the Student Union. After that he elected as a leader of Home Surgeon's Association in S.V. Medical College, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. After complition of his MBBS, he served as a Medical officer at Jamalamadugu Mission Hospital in 1973.
After that he constructed a on Polytechnic, Degree College in Pulivendula and later on hand over to Loyola group of Institutions.
He started her political career in 1978 he won Pulivendual Constituency and became a "Minister of Rural Development (1980-82), in 1982, Excicse Minister and in 1982-23, as a educational Minister. He elected 4 time to State Lagislaty Assemble and 4 times to Lower House of Parlament. In 1983, Reddy joined in Andhra Pradesh Congress Commitee and become a president, up to 1985, he is the too strong opposition Leader from 1999 to 2003 in the 11th state Assembly.
In 2003, he started "Padayatra" covering of 1475-km long all backward areas of ndhra Pradesh and he won Assembly elections, which were held in 2004 and win 185 seats. He become a 14th Chief Minister Andhra Pradesh on 14.05.2004. Now he concentrated on "Agriculture Sector" and Rs.16000 crores spent for irregation project development, started "Agricultural Technology Mission (ATM) IN 2006, 15th January. 30th march 2006, he lanched "Indiramma Programme" which helps to develop Government support to build construction of houses, classrooms, roads and etc.,
Later on 2009, Assembly elections 156 Assembly seats and 33 Lok sabha seats. Once again he become a Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and got the much populatiry. He concentraed on eduction sector and provided free eduction for each and every student to achive his goal in her life, not only that the he enormously concentrated the development of all sectors like Information Technology,Bio Technology etc.,
Dr.Y.S. Raja Sekhar Reddy, died in 3rd September, 2009 unexpected helicopter crash in Nalamal forest. The Country and Andhra pradesh loss one of the strogest leader.
