Pingali Venkayya
Father of Indian National Flag
Pengali Venkaya, Indian freedom fighter. born in 2 August, 1876, Krishna District, Machillipatam in Andhra Pradesh, India. He is an liguist, ideologist, geolist and writer.
At the age of 19 years-old, joined in British Army during the Anglo -Boer war in Africa.
He delivered the very ncve full-length of speech in Japanese, it is motivated the people at that time got name like "Japanese Venkaya'.
At time of Anglo-Boer war he met with Mahatham Gandhi laster over 50 years. He his research about desing of 3 colours flag from 1916 to 1921. ans published a book in1916 offering thirty designs of what could make the Indian flag.
Pengali Venkaya research on 30 countries flags and making tricolor of Indian flag, which was finalised in Congress Committe meeting conducted in Vijayawad on March 31st laong with Mathamtham Gandhi.
In April 1st, 1921, Pengali venkaya named as "Janda Venkaya".
